My rant !

During one of my photo trips to meet European bee-eaters, I was distressed to see two "photographers" cross the fences of a property to settle near the nesting site of these birds, at the contempt of respect for private property (crossing fences) and the disturbance they could cause on this colony of European bee-eaters. Nothing can justify such behavior, certainly not a photography...

I take advantage of this post to recall the principles of ethics, which must be the rule of any wildlife photographer :
"The approach and the observation of the animals must be done by avoiding any disturbance which would be likely to disturb their peace of mind; You must know how to give up taking a photograph which could cause a harmful disturbance. To love, to know, to respect, are the rules to apply."
