    The Orchids

    Wild orchids, often small in size, grow naturally in various biotopes around the country. The flowers often carried by a long stem, are all of great beauty. The shapes and colors vary depending on the species, but all remain extremely elegant. Exceeding rarely 20 cm in height, these orchids will be observed only by connoisseurs.
    Unlike the majority of tropical orchids that are epiphytes (ie that grow on tree limbs with aerial roots), our native orchids are terrestrial orchids growing from a pseudobulb.
