Fair photo of Nimes :
The 36th exhibition of photographic and cinematographic antiques is scheduled to take place in Nîmes on March 5, 2023 - Centre hotelier Ville active, at the Grand Hotel de Nimes (ex.Holiday Inn) motorway exit Nîmes Ouest, from 9h to 16h..
With Bièvres, Strasbourg, Chelles, Cormeilles-en-Parisis, Nîmes is one of the five meetings that count in France. Unavoidable.
This photography fair organized by the Niepce Daguerre Club, traditionally takes place the first weekend of March.
Wooden rooms, cameras, projectors, old photographs, books are on the menu for this event.
In April
Fair photo of Vienne :
Since 1983, Vienne, la photographie has organized the European Forum of Photo Cinema Antiquities in Vienna. It is one of the most important protests in France. Thousands of pieces are on display (old equipment, digital equipment, used equipment, old photographs, manuals, films ...)
This event regularly attracts a crowd of amateurs, collectors and visitors who often travel from far away (Germany, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland).
The 39th edition of the photo cinema antiques forum is scheduled to take place in Vienna on April 02, 2023 - Salle des Fêtes - Place de Miremont in Vienna (38200).

Pélerinage of the Gypsies to Saintes Marie de la Mer :
This demonstration takes place every year on May 24th at 25th,but also the third weekend of October. We lead in Procession to the sea, Sara, the Boss of the Gypsies. Sara's statue, carried by the Gypsies, up to the sea, symbolizes the wait and the reception of Saints Marie Jacobé and Salomé. This pélerinage is the occasion of various animations and festivities.

Celebration of Nature:
The 17th edition of the Festival of Nature will take place across France from May 24 to 29 2023.
The Nature Festival was created in 2007 on the initiative of the French Committee of the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Wild Earth magazine with the objective, together, celebrate nature each year.
On this occasion, thousands of events are organized by associations for conservation and nature education, local communities, schools, businesses, individuals ... throughout France, in metropolitan France and overseas. , in cities as well as in the countryside.

In May
Celebration of ponds :
The 8th edition of the pond festival will take place from May 28 to June 5, 2023.
An event organized by the National Society for Protection of Nature (SNPN) with support of Pole relay inland wetlands ponds and alluvial valleys.
Ponds are fantastic wet micro-areas: Biodiversity supports key elements of weft green and blue, not to mention the multiple services they provide to humans! Because of their small size, they are wonderful teaching materials.
However as all wetlands, ponds are threatened ... 90% of them have disappeared over the last century.

In June
Festival of the Transhumance in Espérou:
The 31st edition of this traditional festival took place on Sunday June 11, 2023 at Espérou (30570), near Mont Aigoual, and brings together several herds. Some villages of Cevennes still preserve several herds of sheeps immortalizing a transhumance millennium.
We find with pleasure the festive side of this event, and the sheep always well dressed up.
A time threatened, the transhumance is again promoted through its important role in maintaining the landscape and preserving the Cevennes small built heritage and their classification by UNESCO.

Photographic meetings of Arles :
An annual summer photography festival founded in 1970, Les Rencontres d'Arles has acquired an international reputation by offering an annual x-ray of contemporary photographic creation every summer.
Many exhibitions installed in heritage places in the city of Arles, as well as many courses and workshops under the direction of great photographers are open to all.
These meetings are followed by an exhibition that takes place until in the month of September.
The 54ème edition of the Arles photographic meetings will take place from July 3 to September 24, 2023.

Festival of Photo "Phot'Aubrac' :
Created in 2003, the PHOT’Aubrac festival is organized by the PHOT’Aubrac association. It is carried on a voluntary basis by the local population of farmers / breeders and the 80 volunteers of the association. This photo festival dedicated to professionals and amateurs of photographs as well as to lovers of our territory.
The 2023 edition of the festival will take place from 21 to 24 September 2023. The exhibitions are distributed around Nasbinals, Aubrac, Saint-Urcize, Marchastel, either the three departments of Lozère, Aveyron and Cantal.

Feast of Shepherds in Istres :
The 46th shepherd Festival will take place in Istres from 12 to 27 November 2022.
The festival of shepherds in Istres, is a tribute to the Provençal tradition, the transhumance and the land of the crau.
Over the years, a must-attend event, the Shepherd's Festival attracts thousands of people each year, lovers of the Provençal tradition and its costumes.
Provençal Mass, great transhumance parade and folklore show.
